A lot is being said and written about the Indian film industry post the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor who reportedly died by suicide is one of the most discussed topics on social media. His fans are demanding a CBI probe in his case as they feel there is more than what meets the eye. Meanwhile, words like nepotism are proving to be a nightmare for the bigwigs of Bollywood. Amidst this, writer Apurva Asrani has made a tweet urging all to speak up.

In his latest tweet, Apurva mentioned about the false #MeToo allegations that were leveled against Sushant Singh Rajput and how there was an effort put in to malign his image. After his death, some people are trying to prove him mentally 'unstable', feels Apurva. His tweet reads, "#SushantSinghRajput was called a skirt chaser, falsely accused in a #metoo case, labelled problematic at work & his career written off. We watched silently. Days later, he was found dead by hanging. Now many are eager to label him 'unstable'. Don't be silent now. Talk about this."

Reportedly, Sushant Singh Rajput was suffering from depression and was under medication. The actor reportedly took his life by hanging from the ceiling fan in the bedroom of his home in Bandra on June 14. 


Police reportedly did not recover any suicide note from his apartment. During the course of the investigation, many from the Bollywood industry have been summoned by the police to record their statements.
